How did Brion propose to Melissa?
We were driving up north on our vacation to Marinette Wisconsin at the end of June in 2007. Brion asked to stop at a scenic area in Manistique, off of Lake Michigan. It was an absolutely beautiful area with a sandy beach, lighthouse, and a nice dock to walk on.
We stopped at a bench on the boardwalk to sit down. Brion then got down on one knee and proposed. It was so romantic, it's a moment we will never forget!
How Brion and Melissa met
We met on the internet January, 2004. We chatted for a while and finally decided to meet in person on February 14, 2004. We met at the Leland City Club in Detroit, MI. It was love at first sight! We found we had a lot of things in common and our love grew stronger with each passing day! There was no doubt in our minds that we were each other's one and only.
